| HEY ALL, I haven't seen many people asking if this drive can work outside of a PS2 on a PC, WELL IT CAN! This Drive is Made by Seagate, and is not proprietary in any way. To make it a slave drive TAKE THE JUMPER OFF. Fit the secondary IDE on to the drive, use the Computer Management tool to initialize the drive, and then format it, and go to town! So if you bought this drive for Final Fantasy XI and then when the slim ps2 came out and you were left with a useless 40GB hard drive, now you have a use for it. |
