the drive works great, nice and quiet , it does get kind of warm though, it could be the ps2 though. not really sure whicht one it is? hd loader works great I have even got a game like .hack pt.1 to work(enable mode #2)(the \\\"official\\\" compitabilty list says it does not work. another good tip is when you start up your ps2 the hd loader disk is STILL spinning1 so to keep the disk from spinning all the time go to install and the cancel, then go ahead and play your game!
