Set jumper pin to Master on hard drive.
Format using HDloader & start backing up your games onto your new 500GB hard drive!
Games load insanely quick! Like if you were playing them at a Arcade machine in the stores! Some, few games loading is the same disc speed.
Hard drive is quiet, fast, does add a lot of weight to your PS2 once inside. Backing up a 4GB game usually takes around 30 minutes, then starts speeding up. No heat problems, no formatting problem. Because of the weight of the hard drive, I suggest u set your PS2 horizontally flat on its side. Be careful with your PS2, don't bang it, don't drop it, its even more fragile now since the hard drive is inside!
Works for FAT(chubby) PS2 & unlocks & locks for your XBOX with no problem & remember this is a EIDE-ATA 500GB hard drive, its what u need for your PS2 or XBOX when it comes to softmodding & upgrading to a bigger hard drive.
Enjoy!!! |
