| The drive fit perfectly, however, despite what "Zone" posted on 2009-09-12, I could not get this drive to work on my "fat" PS2. I tried formatting n the PS2 itself and on a PC with and without a USB enclosure. I tried everything I could to avoid returning the HD, but at the end, that's what I had to do. |

| Did you try formatting it with WinHIIP 1.7.6 to 48-bit mode? |

| Yes I did. I tried various versions including the new one as well as one fom back when it didn't even have a 28 / 48-bit option...bought a maxtor HD instead and that one's working fine. |
