| For all those Mac gamers iteernsted nvidia 3d vision, I am using this glasses and emitter kit with my 2010 MacBook Pro 17 Core i5 laptop and Alienware 3D vision monitor for stereoscopic 3D gaming under Windows 7 bootcamp. What you need:(1) MacBook Pro with NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M graphics/video card. You can verify you have this by opening System Profiler by clicking Apple->About This Mac->More Info. Once in System Profiler, click the Graphics/Display to show what video cards you have installed on your system.(2) 3D Vision capable monitor/projector (for example Acer GD235HZbid Widescreen 23.6 3D LCD Display). The built-in laptop screen is not a 120Hz 3D vision ready display.(3) The dual-link DVI adapter Apple Mini DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI Adapter MB571Z/A. 3D Vision monitors use a dual-link dvi connection to handle the stereoscopic signal. You cannot use the regular dvi adapter Apple sells.(4) Bootcamp partition with Windows 7 or Vista installed. I use Windows 7 Home Premium and can confirm it works.(5) Nvidia notebook drivers Release 265 or greater. Nvidia integrated the 3d vision components into the standard driver installer so you no longer need to hunt down and install the separate 3d vision CD kit. This new driver family greatly simplifies installation and configuration. The wizards handle everything.If you meet the above requirements, you are ready to play stereoscopic 3d games using your Apple hardware. I play Torchlight, StarCraft 2, and Dragon Age using this setup and enjoy the extra depth it provides.
