Drive is about 2/3 the thickness of previous Seagate drives I've owned from what looks like a minor revision with how the connectors are placed, making things a little more compact. It still works fine so far with my PS2 and the games I've put on it with WinHiip using the MC exploit to start HDLoader.

I also just purchased this baby for my PS2. Formatted in seconds with HDLoader 0.8b. Works fine, no problems installing.

Would there be a chance that this could work with a v9 PS2?

Most likely if it work with a V4+ it will work with any fat PS2.
