| This drive will not fit on to the adapter - the IDE pins and Power pins are too far apart. It may be possible to take the metal plate off of the adapter, and unscrew the power & IDE connectors from what is holding them in place; this should allow enough play so that the drive can be used. I chose *not* to do this and bought a different drive instead. |

| just break the tiny circuitboard between the IDE and the Molex power plugins, there is nothing there that will be broken and it's been working fine for me for years. |
