Theoretically the HDL v0.7C can recognize up to 1TG (1000GB) --- I\'m halfway there and firmly believes that 1TG is compatible once drives that size are widely available and for cheap. It picks up as 465GB HDD SIZE and 463 GB HDD free, and took only 45 seconds to format with the drive being clean and brand new. Bottom Line: the 500GB works, pretty much any brand will do (even WD, but modification to Network adapter is needed, so why bother with WD!)

I have this HDD and when i tried to use it with the HDLoader it only recognizes about 135 GB, anyway to make it unlock the rest of the drive?

This hard drive works for me. Recognizes 465 GB IIRC. Remember to enable 48-bit.

First setting the Bios and see if that drive support 48bit... Enable it... then format the drive using WinHiip 1.7.6 48-Bit LBA mode...

i used a 320 GB and it's working like a ARCADE MACHINE, u don't NEED to use Winhipp 1.7 , the BEST way is use this: HDD MEGAPACK BR 9 it's very GOOD!!! A lot of programas and emulators can work directly from HD... i'm using and can say there's no other =)

I've thrown<a href="http://nvrgirerc.com"> srectahcd</a> CDs DVDs in this thing that I thought were finished. Amazingly it has read everything I have put in it so far. I find it funny that people will spend a ton on some components, and not fork out an extra $10 for a top of the line drive. This drive deserves an easy 5 stars.
