I had to modify my network adapter to get the power and IDE connector to fit in the right place.
If you unscrew your network adapter and carefully make the power and IDE connectors come awy from the metal they are attached too (by small rivet type things),
just get a pair of small wire cutters and snip away at the rivet type things they shoul come loose and give you more movement left and right on the connectors.
A new idea I had was to have my hard-drive not in the ps2 but outside it on top of it. You need to make bigger modifications to your PS2 network adapter and you probably will need a male-2-female IDE extension lead and maybe a power extension lead.
This means you dont have to mount the drive inside the ps2 and it makes it easier to get games from PC to PS2 hard drive using say HDHandiness 0.75. |
