THIS DRIVE WILL WORK, BUT THESE TWO STEPS MUST BE FOLLOWED:
1. Unscrew the aluminum casing on the PS2 Network Adapter at the bottom, fold the metal up, and use a T-8 (otherwise known as a Torx or Star driver) to remove the power adapter from the casing. DO NOT USE A REGULAR PHILLIPS OR FLATHEAD - YOU WILL STRIP THE SCREW. Clip the aluminum between the power adapter and the screwhole (to allow the power adapter to move freely to the side). Put a piece of electrical tape on the back of the power adapter and bend the aluminum back into place. Put the right-side screw back into the casing (the one nearest to the IDE connector).
2. Place the jumper between pins 4 and 6 (pins are 1-10 going from right to left, with odd on top and even on bottom). |
